Dear Partners & Friends,
We just had an incredible summer Heart for the World! With COVID-19 and the resulting financial downturn, it didn’t seem like a good time to have HFTW in the natural.
But you and God shocked us! The summer 2020 Heart for the World was 32% higher than last summer! And it was the highest HFTW since the spring of 2018!
So: thank you, thank you, thank you!
On August 6, Joni and I will celebrate 38 years of marriage. (We got married in 1982.)
August 22 is Rachel’s due date for “Baby Boy Brown!” Please pray for her, the baby, and Josh during this time. We will, of course, keep you updated on Daystar as we consider you part of our family.
I want to personally ask you to pray for me to make the right decisions about Daystar Español. All of the equipment has been ordered, paid for, and installed. And we have hired staff to run it. But I felt like we need to delay the launch until the crucial part of COVID-19 was over with.
One of the things I tell Joni is, “Timing is an integral part of the will of God.” You can do something God has told you to do, but if you do it in the wrong timing, then you are not operating in the will of God. (Maybe that is a word from God for you today.)
We put the Marcus & Joni show on hold back in March and having been doing Ministry Now. The focus has been to: inform you, inspire you, encourage you, and bless you. So I hope that you have enjoyed it. We will continue with Ministry Now until COVID-19 is under control.
A few weeks ago on the program, the Lord gave me a word. He said, “Tell your viewers to get up and walk to a door that goes to the outside of their house. Open the door and say, ‘Fear, be gone in the name of Jesus. And don’t come back!’ And then slam the door!” Try it!
I am so proud of Joni. She has just done her 2,000th episode of her daily TV program, Joni Table Talk. The only female to do more episodes is Oprah Winfrey. In fact, Joni has been nominated multiple times for Daytime Emmy Awards. It is the highest award in secular TV. And it is the award Oprah was nominated for.
I think Joni is the best female TV Host in Christian or secular TV. Joni is warm, smart, caring, has a good sense of humor, asks great questions, and allows her guests to talk. Plus she’s beautiful!
Thank you again for your faithfulness in watching and giving! It means so much to Joni and me, and the Lamb Family, and it means so much to souls around the world, including Israel!
Yours For Christian Television,
Marcus D. Lamb

P.S. Please write your Prayer Requests and we will pray for you!
